Principle of soft seal gate valve

When the soft seal gate valve is closed, the raised surface can be sealed only by means of material working pressure, that is, the raised surface of the gate valve can be pressed to the high-pressure gate valve on the other side only by means of material working pressure, that is, self sealing. The vast majority of soft seal gate valves adopt mandatory sealing.


That is, when the soft seal gate valve is closed, the gate valve shall be forced to the high-pressure gate valve with the help of external force to improve the tightness of the raised surface. The gate of soft seal gate valve moves in a uniform straight line with the valve stem, which is also called non rising stem soft seal gate valve.


The soft seal gate valve is generally provided with trapezoidal threads on the electric push rod, which passes through the nut on the top of the gate valve and the guide groove on the oil circuit board to turn the rotary fitness movement into a uniform linear movement, that is, the actual operating torque into the actual operating thrust. When the gate valve is opened, when the lifting height width ratio of the soft seal gate valve is equivalent to 1:1 times of the nominal diameter of the gate valve, the channel of hydrodynamics is connected.

For steam leakage methods of soft seal gate valves, the following types are common:


1. The relay steam leakage on the cylinder of soft seal gate valve will be due to the high standard air pressure in the pressure reducer.


2. The exhaust hole of the soft seal gate valve cylinder leaks steam, which is due to the embrittlement of the sealing ring at the sealing between the two subject moving components in the cylinder and the engine cylinder block.


3. The upper and lower sides of the cylinder of the soft seal gate valve leak steam because the sealing ring at the sealing between the electric actuator and the cylinder fails to achieve the actual effect of sealing due to the frequent theme activities of the electric actuator.


4. In addition to the above three conditions, there is another condition that will also cause steam leakage in the cylinder of the soft seal gate valve, that is, the spring yellow in the cylinder is damaged because the force is not in place, which will also lead to untimely closing.


When dealing with the problem of steam leakage in the cylinder of soft seal gate valve, it should be considered according to the specific conditions, such as whether the valve is gas open or gas closed. For the gas open valve, people can close the hand valves on both sides, and then let the central control console open the valve. First remove the connecting piece at the connection, and then disconnect the source. At this time, the steam at the pressure reducer is discharged, Note that the electric actuator will rotate by 90 ℃ at this time. After replacement, pay attention to moving the electric actuator back to the original position. Solution:


1. Replace the sealing ring of the electric actuator.


2. Replace the sealing ring at the cylinder.


3. Adjust the standard air pressure of the pressure reducer to 3-5kg, or disassemble the air exchange position below the relay for several times. Sometimes, the relay will be replaced.


4. Replace the spring yellow in the cylinder.
